6. North Carolina Tar Heels (6-2, 3-2):

The Tar Heels might be the most disappointing team in the ACC. Some had the Tar Heels as a dark horse Playoff team. It is a lot to ask of one player to take on as much responsibility as Drake Maye does. The defense hasn’t picked up the offense this season, thus the two losses.

5. Duke Blue Devils (5-3, 2-2):

Riley Leonard’s ankle injury is the ominous beat of all bad beats. The Devils had an opportunity to make it to Charlotte before Leonard hurt his ankle against Notre Dame. Their backup quarterback situation is not very good. There might be a bowl game in Duke’s future, but it will not be easy with Leonard at 50-60 percent.

4. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (4-4, 3-2):

After a 46-42 victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have a path to a bowl game. What the ‘Jackets are doing this season is proof that sometimes, simply taking off the interim tag from a coach is not a bad thing. Other than Georgia, every other team on the schedule is winnable.
