Another week of College GameDay is upon us and we’ll no doubt see one of the better games of the slate in Athens as No. 2 Georgia hosts No. 10 Ole Miss.

This will be a chance for the Rebels to make a statement and get into the College Football Playoff field while Georgia is trying to prove that it belongs in that top four, and maybe even No. 1.

Georgia could pick up a second straight ranked win and that would only strengthen its resume heading into the final three weeks. At this point, it feels like the Bulldogs will run the table, especially with the off-field Lane Kiffin controversy hitting the Rebels this week.

Before we get into the game, let’s talk College GameDay.

Who will be the Week 11 College GameDay guest picker?

Making the trip to Athens for the big game is a familiar face for Georgia fans.

That’s right, Eagles rookie linebacker and former Georgia star Nolan Smith will be back on campus this weekend for College GameDay as he’ll undoubtedly be picking the Bulldogs to beat No. 10 Ole Miss at the end of the show.

Smith is a beloved figure in Athens, helping to lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national titles despite playing in just eight games in 2022.

He was selected in the first round of this year’s NFL draft and has accounted for minimal stats defensively with the Eagles during his rookie season. My money would be on him becoming a really good linebacker in the league in due time.

Georgia fans should love this selection.
