2. Eugene Wilson III, freshman

In Napier’s second recruiting class, he absolutely hit on Eugene Wilson III. As a freshman, Wilson has already racked up 479 yards and five touchdowns on 51 catches.

He’s a versatile chess piece that is effective as a downfield receiver and a gadget player on sweeps and pop passes. He’s clearly one of the most effective freshman in the entire country and plenty of schools will come calling with enticing NIL packages.

Even though Wilson is having success in Gainesville right now, that doesn’t mean he’ll be willing to pass up interested teams that are contending for a national title if Florida has its second-straight losing season this year.

This is speculation, so don’t hit the panic button yet Gator fans. I just wouldn’t be surprised if Napier, who’s worried about keeping his job, can’t keep Wilson this offseason.
