Lathan Ransom, S, Ohio State

Ohio State will continue to be without starting safety Lathan Ransom. Ransom got hurt in the fourth quarter of the Buckeyes’ game at Wisconsin. Ryan Day said he will miss at least a few more weeks with a left leg injury. The best-case scenario for Ohio State is that he returns from injury in the conference championship game if Ohio State makes it there.

Ohio State has had many injuries to their secondary, so they have been good while having many players out. Players like Josh Proctor, Ja’Had Carter, and Denzel Burke have missed time with injuries this season.

Luckily for the Buckeyes, they have many players that are just waiting for their chance to show they can make an impact, and Sonny Styles is one of those players. Styles has had 14 tackles, a sack, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble in the last three games.

Jonathon Brooks, Cooper DeJean, and Lathan Ransom are all massive losses to their teams. Everyone of those teams is trying to clinch a spot in their conference championship game. Which player will prove to have suffered the biggest loss?
