The regular season in college football has just two weeks left and that means there are only two more opportunities for Heisman Trophy contenders to make statements.

Here are the top five Heisman Trophy candidates ahead of Week 12.

Honorable mention: Jordan Travis, Ollie Gordon, Caleb Williams, Jalen Milroe

At the beginning of the season, I never thought I’d be at the point of adding Carson Beck to the Heisman candidates list, let alone in the final couple weeks of the season.

But he’s been that impressive.

Beck isn’t going to blow you away with athleticism or crazy arm talent, but he’s arguably the most consistent quarterback in the nation.

In fact, Georgia’s first-year starting quarterback is completing 72 percent of his passes and he’s never thrown for less than 254 yards in any game and he’s never had a two-interception game. He’s also thrown at least one touchdown pass in all but one game and he has six multi-touchdown games, including three in a row.

After passing for 306 yards and two touchdowns in a 52-17 win over Ole Miss, he’s earned his way onto this list.
