Not only is it Senior Day in South Bend tomorrow, but it’s also a rekindling of emotions for Notre Dame football’s Sam Hartman as he’s set to square off against many of his former Demon Deacon teammates in Wake Forest.

The sixth-year senior quarterback played five seasons whilst at Wake Forest. During his time in Winston-Salem, Hartman broke countless school and ACC records and earned his undergraduate degree — of course.

Fast forward to the present day, the current graduate student and captain of the Fighting Irish football team will be welcoming his alma mater to the house that Rockne built. Here are three bold predictions for the Irish in their upcoming victory against the Demon Deacons in what should now be known as the Hartman Bowl — powered by the portal.

PS: Irish fans, make sure you tune in to watch this one on NBC at 2:30 p.m. ET because, for many across the nation, it’ll be your last opportunity to watch thy Gold and Blue on the gridiron this season. The regular-season finale next week, away to Stanford, is being broadcast on the difficult-to-access and soon-to-be-defunct Pac-12 Network.
