There were a few games in the night slate that involved ranked teams that went right down to the wire and Missouri was one of them.

The Tigers hosted a 5-5 Florida team and everyone expected an easy win for Eli Drinkwitz and Co., but it was anything but. The Gators put up more of a fight than anyone expected and Missouri had to sweat this one out.

You have to give credit to Billy Napier for keeping his team motivated despite suffering through a massively disappointing season. The Tigers looked like they were going to lock up a win late with a 30-21 lead, but Florida stormed back to pull within two and the Gators were driving.

Fortunately, Missouri was able to hang on for the win on a last-second field goal, but man, this was a close call against a team that the Tigers should’ve beaten without much of a problem.
