College Football Bowl Projections after Week 13
New Year’s Six Bowl projections after Week 13
Cotton Bowl: Penn State vs. Texas
Orange Bowl: Ohio State vs. Louisville
Fiesta Bowl: Washington vs. Alabama
Peach Bowl: Tulane vs. Missouri
Thoughts on New Year’s Six Bowl projections
I’ve changed things up a little bit. I’m going to have Ohio State going to the Orange Bowl, which leaves Alabama to be selected for the Fiesta Bowl, which would be a fascinating matchup between Michael Penix Jr. and Jalen Milroe.
Missouri seems could be headed anywhere, but right now, we’ll send the Tigers to the Peach Bowl to take on Tulane. Penn State and Texas is a big-name matchup that will be hard to pass up, and the Orange Bowl will probably select Ohio State because it’s Ohio State.
Ole Miss could have a shot at the final bowl berth if it’s ranked ahead of Penn State. Liberty is also in the mix for a New Year’s Six bowl if the committee moves them ahead of Tulane or if Tulane drops the American Championship game this weekend.
Another thing to watch is that if Louisville drops the ACC title game and if North Carolina State moves ahead of them, the Wolfpack will get the Orange Bowl bid.
