With the regular season sadly coming to an end, it’s time for bowl season. Before all that, we have matchups this weekend that can change the landscape of the College Football Playoff. The game is the Pac-12 Championship between undefeated No. 4 Washington and No. 6 Oregon football on ABC on Friday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET.

This game also has massive considerations for who will be the frontrunner to win the Heisman with the marquee matchup of Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix.

With so much build-up with this game, here are three bold predictions for arguably the best team in all of college football, the Oregon Ducks, who will light up Las Vegas inside Allegiant Stadium.

3. Bucky Irving to gains 180 all-purpose yards

Bucky Irving has been one of the best backs we have seen this year in the FBS being a deadly runner behind the best offensive line and an even better pass catcher for the offense. Washington is going to be eyeing the air attack of Bo Nix, so Irving will have to be on his game with his running attack.

The offensive line will create holes in the Huskies’ defense and is middle of the pack in stopping the rushing game, Irving being an impressive elusive back. In the last matchup, head coach Dan Lanning and offensive coordinator Will Stein gave Irving the ball 22 times with his largest gain of 15. Don’t be surprised if Lanning will give the ball to him closer to 30 times and see a large gain as well.

Look out as well, Irving is No. 2 in the FBS in receptions with being a running back providing Nix another way to get the ball to the dangerous Irving in the open field.

Before this year, Irving was on the preseason watchlist for the Doak Walker Award. Even though he wasn’t a semifinalist, he provided the Ducks offense so much impact with his skillset. Irving is sure to have a huge game to bring a Pac-12 title back to Eugene.
