Predicting the final 2023 College Football Playoff field

There’s an argument to be made for the Huskies to be No. 1 after beating Oregon for the second time this season in the final Pac-12 title game ever.

Washington has some impressive wins this year like a 56-19 win over Mountain West champion Boise State, a 31-24 win at Arizona, a 36-33 win over No. 8 Oregon, a 52-42 win over No. 20 USC, a 35-28 win over No. 18 Utah, a 22-20 win at No. 11 Oregon State, and a 34-31 Pac-12 title win over No. 5 Oregon.

Out of the Huskies’ 13 wins this season, five of them came against ranked teams and that’s not including Arizona who wasn’t ranked at the time of the matchup. The Wildcats would make six ranked wins on the year for Washington — yes, that’s half the schedule.

Although a lot of the Huskies’ big wins were close, this team just seems to always get the job done. The Huskies are really good, but many are wondering if they can hang with teams like Alabama, Michigan, or Georgia. They may not have to.
