4. Cure Bowl: Miami (Ohio) RedHawks vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers

Just like the Myrtle Beach Bowl, the matchup of the RedHawks and Mountaineers is going to take place on December 16th at 3:30 on ABC. This clash is for the Avocados from Mexico Cure Bowl. The 8-5 Mountaineers are surfacing as the favorites with 52.4% according to ESPN analytics, over the 11-2 RedHawks. This game is going to be headlined by the pairing of two Mountaineers. The pairing is Joey Aguilar and Kaedin Robinson. Aguilar is 9th in passing yards and tied for 3rd in touchdowns with Heisman semi-finalists, Michael Penix Jr. Robinson is tied for 14th with 10 touchdowns. Even with all those stats from the top threats on the Mountaineers’ air-raid offense, the RedHawks fly through the sky on the defensive end having the 7th best with only allowing 16.2 points per game.

In this game, fans will hear a familiar name in College football with having the younger brother of Blaine Gabbert, quarterback Brett Gabbert lead the RedHawks onto the field in Orlando. The RedHawks offense is led by Rashad Amos who is 47th ranked rusher in the nation and 24th in rushing touchdowns.

Fans are accustomed to seeing high-powered offenses and run-stopping defenses. In this game, you will see both at the FBC Mortgage Stadium home of Central Florida. Will the Mountaineers find a clear shot for victory or will the RedHawks soar their way to a win in a bowl game?
