Kyle McCord: Nebraska football

Nebraska football has been as aggressive as any team in college football in pursuit of transfer portal quarterbacks — that’s according to Pete Nakos of On3.com.

However, Nakos has a good point. Nebraska football has visited Cameron Ward, Will Howard, Kyle McCord, Blake Shapen, and Sam Leavitt. Not all of those guys rank as top-level transfer portal quarterbacks, so can the Huskers land a top-10 type quarterback?

McCord would make a lot of sense. Miami makes a lot of sense too. It might come down to his willingness to stay in the Big Ten, but he’s from Pennsylvania — and with Matt Rhule’s ties to that area, Nebraska football feels capable of landing McCord.

Dillon Gabriel: Oregon

One reason I think that Dante Moore might end up at Michigan is the fact that it feels like Oregon is the favorite for Dillon Gabriel. USC is another team in the mix according to On3.com.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Gabriel land at either spot. He’s expected to visit Oregon soon and it feels like the Ducks will win out. It feels like that system will be a better fit for Gabriel and the Ducks probably have a better shot to win next season.
