Will Howard: USC

One thing to remember is that there are going to be more names in the transfer portal. Think of Maalik Murphy of Texas or Michael Platt of Tulane.

Yet, Lincoln Riley seems to really like Will Howard — a dual-threat quarterack out of Kansas State. Howard threw 24 touchdown passes last season. He also has two seasons with more than 350 rushing yards in his career.

Riley paid Will Howard a visit over the weekend according to On3.com. The Trojans do have former five-star Malachi Nelson as a potential starter, but Howard would be an ideal one-year rental if Nelson needs more time.

Grayson McCall: UCF

North Carolina State and UCF are the top contenders for former Coastal Carolina starting quarterback Grayson McCall.

McCall dealt with some injuries this season. He also had a new head coach after Jamey Chadwell left to lead Liberty to an undefeated season. McCall will visit UCF and North Carolina State. The Wolfpack are close proximity-wise, however, Gus Malzahn might be a better fit.

The Knights are in the Big-12 conference, so they are a Power-5 program too. McCall also needs a productive season after just 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. Malzahn could get a productive season out of him while giving the Knights a chance to make more noise in the Big 12 in year two.
