Alabama football: 4 future opponents the Tide should schedule
By Bryan Peraza
3. Michigan
Okay, this one is kind of considering cheating, since Alabama will actually play Michigan in less than a month after the CFP’s controversial snub of Florida State.
It would still be an incredible home-and-home series since the Wolverines and Tide have never played each other on their respective home stadiums, albeit there’s a bit of history with these two historic programs, like the 2000 Orange Bowl where eventual NFL legend Tom Brady led the Wolverines to a dramatic victory, and the upcoming Rose Bowl match between these two non-conference opponents is shaping up to be an instant classic.
The only regular-season meeting between these two programs was back in Alabama’s kickoff game era, where the Tide destroyed UM by a score of 41-14 in the 2012 Cowboys Classic.
Alabama football visiting the Big House would make for an incredible matchup especially since Michigan has recovered from subpar seasons and has positioned itself as a Big Ten power once again after decades, the same could arguably apply to Michigan visiting Bryant-Denny Stadium.
