In a similar boat to Drinkwitz, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin needs to prove that his success in 2023 wasn’t just a fluke.

Also finishing 11-2, the Rebels only lost to Alabama and Georgia during the regular season.

The team’s biggest wins came against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl as well as Tulane, LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas during regular season play.

Next season will also be Kiffin’s fifth year leading the program and he has continuously fallen just short of success until this past year.

If he isn’t able to push his team into a top-12 spot by the end of the regular season, Kiffin better hope that his resume looks appealing to other programs across the country.
