3 Bold Predictions for the Hawaii Bowl
By Zachary Levy
2. Kairee Robinson will Join the 20 Rushing TDs Club
Michigan football has always been a team that relied on the run and this year, San Jose State had the same plan. The Spartans had one of the best backs in FBS being ranked top 30 in rushing yards, averaging 7.1 yards per carry, and he is tied for third in rushing touchdowns, 18. This running back is Kairee Robinson. This year, Chanticleers struggled and had success against the running attack. In this game, the Chanticleers may struggle against Robinson and the Spartans due to how many yards Robinson gets for the Spartans. The outcome of this game will be dependent upon Robinson to gain the yards that he has been this year to stop the air raid offense of the Chanticleers.
Spartan fans are accustomed to hearing Robinson’s name with a touchdown or gaining a first down. College football fans need to be ready to hear Robinson’s name more after the Hawaii Bowl as he may have almost 200 yards rushing and two touchdowns to reach 20 TDs on the year. NFL fans need to be ready as well to see if their team gets Robinson in the Draft.
