2. at LSU (Oct. 12)

Like Florida, LSU has one of the toughest environments in all of college football.

Unfortunately for Lane Kiffin and Co., the Rebels are forced to travel to both stadiums this season but the Tigers will be waiting in early October when they might still feel like they have a shot to win the SEC and a national title. That's only going to make this matchup even tougher and more important.

If Ole Miss wants to prove it belongs in the playoff this year, it needs to win games like this on the road against top competition. I do think LSU takes a slight step back without Jayden Daniels and that offense may not be quite as explosive, but the Tigers still have one of the most talented rosters in the nation and they're led by a veteran coach who knows what he's doing.

Going into Death Valley after a 6-0 start to the season could either be crushing for Ole Miss and give the Rebels all the confidence they need to finish the second half of the season strong.

This game is the perfect litmus test.
