2. Tiller time in Boise

There's a much clearer picture at quarterback in Boise. On Tuesday, Spencer Danielson indicated that true freshman CJ Tiller is the starter for this game. He's only thrown two passes all season, but there's lots of potential that Bronco fans are excited about.

Tiller is 6'1" and hails from Gilbert, Arizona. He played at Rancho Cucamonga High School, where the 3-star and top 50 passing prospect completed 144 passes for 2,154 yards and 14 touchdowns in his senior season.

Behind Tiller on the depth chart will be Colt Fulton. The sophomore lefty hasn't thrown a pass in two seasons, and isn't exactly a safety net for the true freshman ahead of him.

The transfer of Taylen Green could be a boon to his landing spot in Arkansas, but this is also a chance for a new beginning in Boise. Green was really good in 2023, but there is room for improvement at the position.

If Tiller hits, paired with the momentum this program has under Danielson, the Broncos could be kickstarting another exciting era of Boise State football.
