The dust has settled since Nick Saban announced his retirement, new coaches are in their positions and gearing up for the 2024 season. So looking at the coaching landscape, who is under the most pressure heading into the 2024 season?

The 2023 season is in the past, and teams are looking to 2024. Days after the season ended, Nick Saban threw a bomb into the college football field and just sat back and watched the wreckage. Saban announced his retirement two days after the National Championship causing a shift in two of the three major programs of college football.

Kalen Deboer took over at Alabama, leaving Washington in the ruins with no head coach and multiple players leaving for the draft. Jedd Fisch was hired at Washington, leaving Arizona before they make a move to Big 12 next season. Now that all of that is settled, what is next?

Well looking at next season, nothing will be the same as it was. The Pac-12 will be no more. Oklahoma and Texas are moving to the SEC. The Big 12 will have 16 teams ranging from coast to coast. The Big 10 will have 18 teams ranging from the northeast to the southwest.

So lets think about each program. Who needs to have a bounce back year? Who will be the next sleeping giant?
