College coaches under pressure. . player. Ryan Day. Ryan Day. 3. . . . 490

This one might be a surprising one for some people. Ryan Day has proven he is a good coach for Ohio State with a 53-8 record since taking over in 2019. However, he has only made it to one College Football Playoff in his time at Ohio State. The Playoff that Day made, he took the Buckeyes to the Championship to in turn lose Alabama.

Every season Ohio State has been in the mix for the playoff, until about the end of the season. The Buckeyes have lost to Michigan the last three years, destroying their chances at a Big 10 title and ultimately a place in the Playoff.

Ryan Day might have the perfect opportunity falling in his lap with the possibility of Jim Harbaugh leaving for the NFL. The big bad Michigan team may not be so scary anymore. Yes, he will teams joining the conference like Oregon and USC, but day has the Big 10 experience over them.

If Ryan Day can't produce a Playoff appearance this year if Harbaugh is gone, Ohio State might have a lot to think about. He got the transfer he needed on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball to make a good run at a National Championship, especially with the playoff expanding.

Ryan Day, you my friend are under some pressure this year.
