Billy Napier is heading into his third season with the Gators with an 11-14 record. That is not going to fly with Gator fans. As a UCF fan, I don't really like UF. Florida fans want results and they want them immediately when they get a new head coach. Since Urban Meyer left in 2010, the Gators have had four head coaches, not including coaches who took over for the remaining games after the head coaches were fired.

Florida fans when a new head coach comes in want nothing but a National Championship. I understand that all fans want championships, but sometimes you have to taper your expectations. Sometimes it takes a coach time to come in, set up his system, and figure out his team. Nope, Florida fans want right now.

In his first season, fans were calling for Napier's job halfway through the season when he lost to LSU. Some questions have come up with his ability to recruit as well. Napier ended up going 6-7 that season, losing in the Las Vegas Bowl to Oregon State. This past season, the Gators took a step back and went 5-7 and finished fourth in the SEC East.

So, if Napier doesn't produce good wins this season, he could be out the door. I would say that creates a lot of pressure for a coach who not only his boss happy, but a very loud fanbase happy.
