While the college football season isn't quite over, Early Signing Day will take center stage on Wednesday as some of the nation's top uncommitted prospects pick their new homes.

Elite recruits from around the country will be committing throughout the day and signing their Letter of Intent (LOI) to play at top programs. And believe it or not, there are still a number of top prospects still looking for new homes and they have commitments scheduled from morning throughout the evening. Wednesday should be fun for all involved.

The main culprits when it comes to pushing for the No. 1 class all have big names still on their recruiting boards. Programs like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, and others are all hoping to close out their recruiting class on a high note.

The rich seem to always get richer.

While Early Signing Day doesn't quite have the luster of National Signing Day did in February every year before this December signing period began, it still holds plenty of excitement. There are still a number of top targets who will be committing and I'm sure there won't be a shortage of surprises when it comes to flips, too.

Will we see a new team take over the No. 1 class on Wednesday? Will we see some quick risers in the team rankings? Will we see some newly-hired coaches make an impact right away on their first signing day?

There will be plenty of storylines, but let's track the fresh commitments of the top prospects.
