1. Georgia (13-1)

Georgia went on to beat Florida State by 60 in the Orange Bowl and the Bulldogs will bring in the No. 1 recruiting class to complement returning quarterback Carson Beck who should be a legit Heisman contender.

It’s hard to believe that this 13-1 team wasn’t good enough to make the playoff, but next year, we won’t have to worry about that with an expanded field. I’d be shocked if the Bulldogs lost more than one game next year.

The loss of Brock Bowers will hurt, but the addition of Trevor Etienne will help. This team is going to be elite once again. I have no doubt that Georgia will be back in the College Football Playoff next season, probably as the No. 1 seed, and it's going to be due to the fact that Beck returns and every other position group is reloading.

You won't keep Kirby Smart down for long -- especially with Nick Saban retiring.
