The Yellow Jackets managed to go 7-6 and competed with Georgia to finish 2023. Now, Brent Key has put together a solid transfer portal class to keep momentum into 2024.

This class won’t blow you away, but Georgia Tech prioritized reclamation projects, taking players like EJ Lightsey from Georgia and defensive lineman Ayobami Tifase from Florida State and hoping they can deliver on their potential after getting limited snaps at those powerhouse programs. It’s not a bad strategy.

However, the Yellow Jackets lost 21 players. While none were foundational pieces, a program like Georgia Tech can’t just reload depth every season with a historically great recruiting class like their in-state rivals can.
