5. . . . Incoming: 10. Outgoing: 12. 531. . . Missouri

Missouri ranks very highly, not because of what Eli Drinkwitz brought into the program, but because for the most part, he kept his 11-2 team intact. Yes, Cody Schrader is off to the NFL, but Brady Cook and Luther Burden III are staying, so the offense will be dyanamic.

Drinkwitz brought in two running backs to replace Schrader, Marcus Carroll (1,350 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023 at Georgia State) and Nate Noel (834 yards and five touchdowns in 2023 at Appalachian State).

Of Missouri’s 12 outgoing transfers, only linebacker Dameon Wilson has had time as a starter in the program and in 2023 Wilson only recorded two total tackles. Drinkwitz added starters to the defense with defensive linemen Zion Young from Michigan State and Sterling Webb from New Mexico State. Miami Linebacker Corey Flagg Jr. should see the field and Toriano Pride from Clemson will play a key role in the Missouri secondary.
