Trevor Lawrence may not have won a Heisman trophy when he was at Clemson, but he did win a National Championship and I am sure if you asked him, he is very okay with that. Now, looking at this Clemson team you might think there is not much there because they only beat two ranked opponents in the regular season, but they did go undefeated.

Well, I am here to tell you that you are wrong. This team was elite. They scored over 40 points nine times throughout their undefeated season. They even dropped 77 points on Louisville and 56 points on South Carolina. Then in the first game of the playoff against Notre Dame, they beat the Fighting Irish 30-3, absolutely dominating in all phases.

In the National Championship, the Tigers took on undefeated Alabama and demolished them 44-16. Lawrence went off for 347 yards and three touchdowns and Travis Etienne Jr. had a solid game with 86 rushing yards and two touchdowns. This Clemson team was electric on offense all season long and deserves to be ranked high for their performance.
