Just a few weeks after winning a national title with Michigan, Jim Harbaugh decided to take an NFL job after flirting with both the Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons.

On Wednesday, Harbaugh made it official, accepting the Chargers job, per Adam Schefter.

The deal will likely make him one of the highest-paid coaches in the NFL and this is a return to the league that's felt like a long time coming as Harbaugh was with the 49ers before a falling out and then he accepted the Michigan job ahead of the 2015 season, leading his alma mater. But it always felt like he wanted to return to the league to prove that he could win on the highest level.

So after winning the national title at Michigan, it feels like the perfect time for Harbaugh to make that jump back to the league. He truly has nothing more to prove after three straight wins over Ohio State, three straight Big Ten titles, three straight playoff appearance, and a national championship.

When the Chargers job opened up, it just felt right that Harbaugh would be the top candidate for it as he's a quarterback whisperer and Justin Herbert needs some direction after poor coaching since he's been in the NFL.

As you can imagine, social media was set ablaze with the news of Jim Harbaugh reportedly taking the Chargers job and everyone seemed to have an opinion.

Here are some of my favorite reactions to Harbaugh taking the Chargers job.

A great hire by the Chargers and clearly Michigan fans are thankful for his time in Ann Arbor.
