Peyton Manning, Arch's older uncle, played college ball for the Volunteers and has since been inducted into the Volunteers' Hall of Fame as well as having his No. 16 jersey retired.

While Arch couldn't wear his uncle's jersey number, the youngest Manning could easily earn the starting role for Tennessee.

Manning would be going up against a current redshirt-freshman Nico Iamaleava for the job but his skillset is eons beyond that of Tennessee's projected starter.

Following in his family's footsteps, it would come as little surprise if Manning decided to transfer to a different UT.
