Quarterfinals

Sugar Bowl: No. 1 Georgia vs. No. 9 Michigan

I don't see Georgia going undefeated and actually believe this will be on of those seasons when college football won't have an unbeaten team. Georgia might lose at Texas, but will get revenge. Carson Beck has a great shot to win the Heisman and the Bulldog defense can match Michigan's. Their running game can too, but the QB will give UGA the edge and knock out the defending champs.

Prediction: Georgia

Rose Bowl: No. 2 Oregon vs. No 10 Ole Miss

This will be a spectacular matchup. Oregon has two very good running backs, the best tandem of wideouts in college football, two elite quarterbacks (with Dante Moore on the bench), and a great defense. The Ducks have been close and this season they win the Big Ten and just out talent Ole Miss in the Rose Bowl.

Prediction: Oregon

Peach Bowl: No. 3 Florida State vs. No. 6 Texas

Florida State won't be snubbed from the College Football Playoff this time around, however, they'll run into a Texas team that should be a top-4 seed but will short to Georgia in the SEC title game. Sark's team is loaded and they'll learn from their loss to Washington and knock off the Noles.

Prediction: Texas

Fiesta Bowl: No. 4 Kansas State vs. No. 5 Ohio State

Will Howard against his old team would be an interesting storyline. Avery Johnson is legit but Ohio State is better than any team Kansas State will face this season and the Buckeyes reach the Final Four by beating Kansas State at their own game.

Prediction: Ohio State
