Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have established themselves as two of the most popular athletes in college football today.

Hunter, who plays wideout and defensive back, earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors during his first season at Colorado. He tallied three interceptions and had five pass deflections as a defender. Hunter missed three consecutive games due to an injury suffered against in-state rivals Colorado State on Sept. 16.

Sanders tossed 27 touchdown passes to only three interceptions while having completed 69.3% of his passes. He also tossed for the most passing yards in Colorado program history in a single season (3,230), respectively. Sanders managed to be productive despite having a poor offensive line (sacked 52 times, most in college football).

Sanders, Hunter, and head coach Deion Sanders are prominent figures in college football currently and perhaps gracing the cover at the height of their popularity speaks for itself.
