Whoever Jim Harbaugh’s replacement at Michigan is, they can’t lose these 5 players

Senior. OT. player. 78. Myles Hinton. Myles Hinton. . Myles Hinton. 485.

The Michigan Wolverines won the Joe Moore Award for the best offensive line in college football in 2021 and 2022. Last offseason, most of that talent returned, but this year, Michigan is losing Zak Zinter, LaDarius Henderson, Karsen Barnhart, Trevor Keegan, Drake Nugent, and Trentre Jones to the NFL.

Those six players were on the field for a combined 4,200 snaps in 2023 and Hinton is the most experienced returning player on the offensive line. The senior, who was a backup last year, will be back for his final year of eligibility after playing 218 snaps at right tackle and 56 at left tackle last year.

Hinton played on both sides and in those snaps, he allowed just seven pressures. Michigan will be playing an entirely new O-line, so a player with experience like Hinton will be crucial for Alex Orji or whoever is playing quarterback next season.
