USC Linebacker Tackett Curtis
Anyone who follows Wisconsin football recruiting is already well acquainted with Tackett Curtis. Fortunately for the Badgers, when they got a second chance, they were able to close the deal over some big-time programs like Ohio State, Texas A&M, LSU, and Florida State.
What makes the Curtis addition so massive is that he has three years of eligibility left and already saw the field as a true freshman at USC. Now, the Badgers have a Mike linebacker they can build around for the future while also plugging him in as a starter from day one.
The 6-foot-2 linebacker recorded 40 tackles, 10 pressures, two sacks, one forced fumble, and a pass deflection this past season. Now Mike Tressel has a wildly athletic playmaker he can cut loose and utilize to wreak havoc on defense for years to come.
Curtis could become the face of the Wisconsin Badgers defense in time.
