Game 12 - at Baylor
It ain’t over til it’s over
West Virginia’s final Big 12 road test came against the Baylor Bears in Waco. This game saw a few swings in momentum as both teams took control at different points in the game. West Virginia got off to a 10-0 lead and had a 17-7 lead in the early part of the 2nd quarter.
The second half was a different story. Up until their final drive, West Virginia’s second-half possessions went like this:

These offensive struggles led to Baylor getting back into the game and eventually taking a 31-27 lead. After Isaiah Hankins missed a 32-yard field goal with just over a minute to play, the Mountaineers would have one last chance to find the end zone and win the game. Though things looked bleak for the Mountaineers as the 4th quarter wound to a close, Greene found a wide-open Jahiem White in the end zone for a go-ahead touchdown with 23 seconds remaining.
