TJ Jackson - DL - Troy

On January 5th, WVU picked up a commitment from Troy transfer TJ Jackson. Jackson had an impressive 2022 campaign with 55 tackles, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He earned first-team all Sun Belt honors in 2022. Though his production dropped off in 2023, this is a solid pick-up for Neal Brown and the Mountaineers.

Jaden Bray - WR - Oklahoma State

OSU transfer Jaden Bray has committed to play for another Big 12 school, the West Virginia Mountaineers. Bray's best season with OSU came in 2023 when he hauled in 30 passes for 382 yards and 2 touchdowns. Against the Mountaineers in Morgantown on October 21st, Bray had 4 receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Bray will join a wide-receiver room in West Virginia that returns a lot of talent. Aside from leading receiver Devin Carter (out of eligibility), the majority of WVU’s pass catchers from a season ago will be returning in 2024. Hudson Clement, Traylon Ray, and Rodney Gallagher will all look to take a step forward in their sophomore campaigns. Preston Fox, EJ Horton, and tight end Kole Taylor will all be in the mix as well.

Xavier Bausley - OL - Jacksonville State

West Virginia picked up another commitment from offensive lineman Xavier Bausley on Sunday, January 7th. Bausley earned freshman All-American honors at the offensive tackle position. Under head coach Rich Rodriguez, Jacksonville State finished the season with 3,077 rushing yards. This ranked the Gamecocks rushing attack 3rd nationally. Bausley played a major role in Jacksonville State’s ability to run the football with great success. Bausley has 3 years of eligibility remaining. A Dunbar, West Virginia native, Bausley will look to help bolster the Mountaineers' depth on the offensive line.
