USA Today Coaches Poll: Mississippi State is No. 1

The Amway USA Today Coaches Poll was released on Saturday and the Mississippi State Bulldogs are your new No. 1 after a 38-23 victory over the previously second-ranked Auburn Tigers

The Florida State Seminoles took down the Syracuse Orange 38-20 on Saturday afternoon but hat was not enough to keep the top spot in the polls.

Florida State fell one spot to No. 2 and were replaced by the Mississippi State Bulldogs, who took down the Auburn Tigers 38-23.

The Ole Miss Rebels remain No. 3 after a 35-20 win over the Texas A&M Aggies. The Baylor Bears moved to No. 4 after defeating the TCU Horned Frogs 61-58, rallying back from a 58-37 fourth quarter deficit. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are No. 5 after surviving the North Carolina Tar Heels 50-43.

Second-ranked Florida State will play host to fifth-ranked Notre Dame on Saturday night.
