Urban Meyer gets life-size sculpture made of butter at Ohio State Fair (Photo)

Urban Meyer led the Ohio State Buckeyes to the national championship last season and was showered with praise and accolades, but nothing like what will be on display at the Ohio State Fair.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all you see something so shocking that you just have to shake your head and wonder in amazement how such a thing could exist in this world.

Sometimes that’s a good thing and sometimes it’s not, but at the Ohio State Fair you can see something you’ve never seen before in the form of a life-sized sculpture of Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer.

What’s so odd about a life-sized sculpture? Nothing, unless it’s made from 2,000 pounds of butter.

Bill Landis from Cleveland.com, writes the sculpture took more than 500 hours to complete with 400 of those hours spent sculpting the butter version of Meyer in a 46-degree cooler.

Nothing worse than a melted Meyer, right?

In addition to the sculpture of Meyer, there will be a replica of a Buckeyes helmet, legendary mascot Brutus Buckeye and a replica of the national championship trophy. You can see the picture of the Meyer sculpture in the photo below shared from Darren Rovell’s twitter account and you can see more images by visiting Landis’ piece at Cleveland.com.

I must admit, the artists who created this did a spot-on job of the Meyer stance and look. Now, I wonder if they will have the chance to make a butter sculpture of J.T. Barrett or Ezekiel Elliott should one of them win the Heisman Trophy later this year.
