Despite a relatively quiet National Signing Day, Texas A&M football finished with the third-ranked class in the nation. Who’ll have an instant impact in 2019?

After signing 25 players during the Early Signing Period, Texas A&M football was sitting pretty in the top five. Now, with the addition of Ainias Smith and Chris Russell, they have settled at No. 3 in the national recruiting rankings.

Now second-year head coach Jimbo Fisher seems to be on the run in terms of recruiting — taking care of business for his team on and off the field.

The question now is who will make a big time impact in the upcoming season?

This is one of those guys that this program wanted really bad and they went out and got him. This team struggled the past few seasons on the offensive line. They have seen up and down quarterback play mostly due to the lack of consistent line play. Just ask Kellen Mond, who has had to use his legs more and more because his line wasn’t protecting him in the least.

With so many older players leaving for the draft, it seems that there are big holes to fill. Trust Kenyon Green out of Humble, Texas, to fill one of those holes.

Despite Jim Turner heading out of town, and Green being one of those guys who really bought into what Turner had to offer, Green seems to still be ready to make a difference for the Aggies. He has really bought into Jimbo Fisher and what he has done for the program — which helps a lot.

“Coach Fisher has done an amazing job changing the culture,” Kenyon told the Houston Chronicle. “It’s a totally different culture and now it’s about winning there. A&M is getting a young man who is going to work hard every single day. I’m going to be respectful of the campus and the program. There’s only one thing to do and that’s to bring a national title back to Texas A&M.”
