3. Pac 12
The Pac 12 remains in the No. 3 spot after last week, but it might be a little unfair. Just like the ACC, the conference had a very impressive win over the weekend against a Big Ten power, and it gave us a thrilling game between USC and Stanford.Â
But UCLA struggling for the second straight week, this time to put away Memphis, the fact that Virginia Tech’s win was slightly more impressive than Oregon’s win, and the existence of Florida State in the ACC is enough to keep the conference ahead of the Pac 12 in our power rankings for now. True, it seems odd since we have Oregon as No. 1 in our Saturday Blitz Top 25, but that’s based on performance. Based on talent, we would all probably agree that Florida State is a much better team.Â
And the conference still has a chance to make a lot of noise with USC, UCLA, Stanford, Oregon, and Arizona State all thinking Pac 12 championship.
