Well Week 3 certainly was upset Saturday. We found out that the Big Ten is still horrible, the SEC West is as good as ever, and many programs we didn’t think much about at the beginning of the season have lots of potential.
The games Saturday generated lots of top performers for the college football world to see, and lots of players and coaches did something to earn Saturday Blitz Blitz Points. College football, like all other sports, is made more exciting when unlikely heroes step up and lead their teams to victories. There was a lot of that Saturday afternoon and into the evening that we didn’t see coming.

With three weeks of the college football season already in the book, we now have more to read into every team and individual. The Heisman race is becoming more clear, although far from finished, the top 25 is becoming more obvious, and the college football playoff contenders are beginning to separate themselves.
And for most teams conference play hasn’t even begun yet.
