Blitz Points: College Football Top Performers From Week 5
Saturday Blitz Blitz Points Earners
This is the year of the running back in college football. In an era when teams are moving further and further away from the 3 yards and a cloud of dust playing style, it is running backs leading the charge in the Heisman race and carrying their teams to victory.
Saturday was no different for our college football top performers, with a few 200 yard rushers taking over games. We have also found out that one team is literally nothing without its running back.
But the running backs aren’t the only people who showed up on Saturday. Plenty of quarterbacks, receivers, and defensive players were difference-makers too during Week 5 of the college football season.

Once again, the 10 Blitz Points winners this week could have helped their team pull off an upset, hold off a potential upset, or lead their team to victory in an evenly-matched game.
In a weekend that provided many exciting games, particularly among Top 25 teams, plenty of players stepped up in the biggest moments Saturday.
So here are our Blitz Points winners for Week 5 of the college football season. As with every week, once again they had to have played on winning teams and been a huge reason for their team’s victory.
