Saturday Blitz Blitz Points Winners Week 5

1. Kenny Hill, Quarterback, Texas A&M Aggies (Defeated Arkansas Razorbacks 35-28 in Overtime)-21 of 41 for 386 Yards and 4 Touchdowns

Kenny Hill’s numbers don’t appear to blow you away, but how he acquired them should. In one of the most clutch performances you could ever see in college football, Hill threw 3 of his 4 touchdowns in the fourth quarter and overtime against Arkansas. It was his courageous effort that led the Aggies to victory after being down 28-14 late in the game.

We knew about Hill’s strengths and the things he needs to work on to become a better quarterback, but fortunately the major question about intangibles, something you can’t measure, was answered over the weekend. Hill showed his Tom Brady, Michael Jordan style clutch gene late in that game against Arkansas, and for that he is a Blitz Points winner this week.

And just for the fun of it, let’s also point out that Hill had 30 yards rushing, bringing his total yardage above 400 again. He’s making Aggies fans forget more and more about Johnny Manziel each week. The Kenny “Trill” nickname is starting to hold true, and I’m sure Bun B and the late Pimp C would approve of it now.
