Fredrick Johnson commits to Virginia Tech: Hokies land 3-Star OT

Since then, they have been defeated by the East Carolina Pirates and an ACC Coastal foe, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets before rebounding with a win over the Western Michigan Broncos last week.
They finally received some good news this week they received a commitment from 3-Star offensive tackle Fredrick Johnson. Johnson is massive, measuring in at 6’6.5 and 301 lbs. He is a Florida prospect, hailing from West Palm Beach, Florida. He attends Royal Palm Beach High School.
Johnson is ranked as the country’s 147th-best offensive tackle prospect, the 210th-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and the 1,499th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Johnson, who picked up an offer just last week, is the Hokies’ 17th commitment in the class of 2015.
