Sarkisian put together a nice class in 2014 and is doing it again in 2015. This week, the Trojans landed a major target in the class of 2016 when 4-Star weak-side defensive end Isaac Garcia gave his pledge to the Trojans.
“I am blessed to announce that I have verbally committed to The University of Southern California,” Garica wrote on his twitter account.
The 6’4, 215-pounder is from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington and also holds an offer from the Washington State Cougars.
Garcia is ranked as the country’s eighth-best weak-side defensive end prospect, the third-best overall prospect in the state of Washington and the 147th-best overall prospect in the class of 2016 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
He is the Trojans’second 2016 commitment, joining 4-Star linebacker Daelin Hayes.
