Chris Davis’ ‘Kick Six’ helmet to be auctioned off
Chris Davis’ helmet from Auburn’s famous ‘kick six’ being auctioned off
Last season, the Auburn Tigers defeated the arch-rival and then top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on of one of the most exciting and shocking endings of all time. Alabama lined up for a last-second field but Chris Davis caught the miss and returned it for a touchdown, which ultimately got Auburn into the National Title Game (of course the Ohio State Buckeyes had to go down first).

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com, Davis’ helmet is being auctioned off.
"The helmet worn by Auburn’s Chris Davis during his improbable 109-yard return as time expired to beat Alabama in last year’s Iron Bowl is being put up for auction.Ken Goldin, president of Goldin Auctions, said his firm has acquired the helmet from a family friend of Davis. The helmet is inscribed “Game Used Iron Bowl 2013” and signed by the cornerback and kick returner.“I know there are several Auburn graduates who are big memorabilia collectors who will be bidding on this,” Goldin said."
That’ going to fetch quite a lot of money from some Auburn fan. The bidding will start at $5,000 but it is expected to for for much more.
