Kentucky QB Patrick Towles believes the Wildcats are right in the middle of the the SEC race

By claiming you are right in the middle of the SEC race, right?

Maybe not, but hat’s exactly what Kentucky Wildcats’ quarterback Patrick Towles did.

“I feel like we’re right in the middle of the SEC race right now,” Towles told Kyle Tucker of The Courier-Journal. “We work for this moment right here. It’s going to happen (tonight) at 7:30, so just go out three and let it all hang out.”

Considering Kentucky already has a loss to the Florida Gators (Florida won 36-30 in triple overtime in a very controversial game), that might be a little far-fetched.

You do, however, have to like Towles’ confidence.

Kentucky will host the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday night. The game is at 7:30 pm EST and is on the SEC Network.
