It was headlined by six 5-Star recruits, including running back Bo Scarbrough.
Bo Scarbrough, however, wasn’t academically eligible and was not able to enroll in school during the fall semester. Alabama head coach Nick Saban told reports they had a goal of getting him enrolled by January.
On Friday, Nick Saban and Alabama found out Scarbrough would eligible to enroll in the spring and participate in spring football practice.
“Yes it is (true). He’s very excited about it,” said Scarbrough’s mother, Donetris via Charles Power of Bama Online. “Roll Tide!”
The 6’2, 225-pound Scarbrough is originally from Tuscaloosa but played for the IMG Academy in Florida. He was ranked as the country’s second-best athlete, the second-best overall prospect in the state of Florida and 16th-best overall prospect in the class of 2014 according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
