Nebraska-Michigan St., Maryland-Ohio St. Highlight Week 6 Vegas Big Ten Predictions
Vegas Big Ten Predictions Week 6
Saturday Blitz Record in Big Ten Games Last Week: 7-2 (39-17)
The Big Ten is giving us a great slate of conference games this weekend rivaled only by the SEC. True, there aren’t nearly as many games between ranked teams as there are in the SEC, but that has more to do with the fact that there simply aren’t nearly as many ranked teams in the Big Ten to begin with. But that could change over the weekend.
The standout match-up is obviously the epic night game scheduled between Nebraska and Michigan State. Just how good are those two teams? We expected them to have the exact same records to this point that they each had, but we also though Michigan State was a lot better. Have we seen anything yet to change our opinion on that?

The rest of the slate will tell us a lot more about the teams in the Big Ten as well. Maryland has a chance to prove just how much it belongs in the Big Ten with a great home match-up against Ohio State at noon this Saturday. The Terps have looked great so far, and Ohio State looks beatable, so that’s a game worth keeping an eye on.
The you have Michigan, looking vulnerable as it faces the other Big Ten newcomer, Rutgers. Wisconsin may be great but a road trip to Northwestern could be tough as well. All of these games are very intriguing and worth tuning into. Even Purdue and Illinois might get interesting, as the boilermakers appear to be improving, and the Fighting Illini appear to be regressing.
So with an exciting slate of Big Ten games this weekend, here are our Vegas Big Ten Predictions for Week 6 of the college football season. Perhaps the conference will look better once they all start playing each other.
