Vegas Big 12 Predictions Week 6
Saturday Blitz Record in Big 12 Games Last Week: 5-0 (27-6 Overall)
The Big 12 was ahead of the rest of the country in bringing in exciting conference games. We’re now in the third week of that here, while the other conferences are simply starting that.
This week, the conference continues its “One True Champion” theme with all 10 teams playing each other for five conference games. And it’s a pretty exciting slate as we try to determine if there are any elite teams on the level of Oklahoma and Baylor along with which teams are going to be left behind at the end of the year.

TCU is undefeated and has a chance to legitimize that undefeated record with a huge home match-up against Oklahoma this weekend. Here is it’s chance to prove that it is a real powerhouse program the way they always tried to do that as a mid-major. But this isn’t the only game worth watching.
Baylor travels to Texas in a game that could be much tougher than you might think, Texas Tech and Kansas State meet in a battle that could also be more interesting than it’s being given credit for. Iowa State has played some teams tough, so they’re worth tuning into against Oklahoma State, and West Virginia-Kansas might be worth watching to see how the Jayhawks play with Charlie Weis no longer on the sideline.
Are teams like Oklahoma State and West Virginia contenders or pretenders? Are Oklahoma and Baylor the only powerhouse programs in the Big 12? Could TCU and Oklahoma State break into that? What about Kansas State? Could Texas Tech turn around its season in an attempt to become bowl eligible?
All of these questions won’t be answered this weekend, but we will get a lot closer to finding them out. So here are our Week 6 Big 12 Predictions for Saturday.
