Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction:

Texas A&M Aggies

It can’t be too hard to pick the Aggies to get back on track this week, can it? After starting the season so strong, the massive deficiencies on this team have finally revealed themselves. Luckily, another weak non-conference game should make the fans in College Station feel a bit better.

Kevin Sumlin has now reopened the quarterback battle between Kenny Hill and Kyle Allen, and that’s going to be the interesting storyline of this game. But honestly, we can’t expect any of that to matter against a Louisiana-Monroe team that is 3-4 on the year so far.

Still, maybe the defense can wake back up after playing so atrocious for three games in a row. But this had to be expected with a team that is talented but very young. Give it time, and eventually Sumlin’s team will have things corrected.

It may even be fair to say that benching Hill would be a mistake going into this game. The Aggies had 4 losses with Johnny Football last year, so it’s not like they’re having that much of a drop-off.

We still have faith in this team, and they’ll win Saturday in a blowout.
