Saturday Blitz Vegas Prediction: North Carolina State Wins 23-10

Let’s stop overreacting to N.C. State’s 4-game losing streak. They should’ve lost to all four teams if we’re honest. At least they’ve improved each week, and they gave Louisville a fight in their last game.

That’s enough for us to say we believe in this team coming off of a bye week against one of the two worst teams in the ACC. If the Wolfpack lose this game, Dave Doeren’s second team has no shot at a bowl game. We simply can’t see that happening.

Jacoby Brissett will allow N.C. State to move the ball enough on Syracuse’s defense, and although the Orange are finally getting healthy on offense, that offense was never good to begin with. Even N.C. State should have no trouble stopping it, which is another reason we give the edge to this team.

How the Wolfpack played against Florida State can’t be ignored, even if they fell apart after that. There is still obviously some talent somewhere on this team, and that talent has to be good enough to beat the Orange on the road.

We’re sticking by that and picking the Wolfpack to win and move to 5-4.
